Hilton hotel chain will affiliate Plaza Prahova Hotel in Ploiesti, 4 star classified, under Doubletree by Hilton brand.
The unit currently operates 139 rooms. This year, EUR 5 mil. will be invested in expanding the accommodation capacity by 130 additional rooms, on 13 floors. The construction works will be completed in June - July next year.
The hotel is owned by Valdor company, controlled by Doru Morcovescu businessman.
Hilton hotel chain is also present in Romania with Athenee Palace Hilton hotel in Bucharest and Hilton Sibiu, 5 star classified, as well as with Doubletree by Hilton in Oradea. Hilton hotel chain has also signed the affiliation of a hotel outside Bucharest under Hampton brand in 2009.
