Grand Hotel Continental will open in August

Radu Enache businessman will re-open Grand Hotel Continental Bucharest in August this year, the only 5 star hotel within Continental local chain.

Also, Ibis Hotel 3 star classified will open in June in Sibiu.

The investment in the two units reaches EUR 15 mil., amount supported by BRD or Raiffeisen Leasing bank loans and own sources.

Grand Hotel Continental is located on Calea Victoriei. The hotel has 60 rooms, 2 restaurants and 2 bars, conference halls and spa center on 250 sq m.

Approximately 140 employees will work in the two hotels.

At present, the 5 star hotel market in the Romanian capital cumulates 2,000 rooms in 8 hotels, cumulating annual business of EUR 100 mil.

The businessman plans to develop a 200 rooms hotel in the capital under Continental Forum 4 star brand and an Ibis hotel with 250 rooms as well as a conference center with a capacity of 2,000 seats.
