Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest: 36% occupancy in February

In February, Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, 5 star classified, controlled by Radu Enache businessman, reported 36% occupancy.

Grand Hotel Continental, with 59 rooms, reopened by the end of the last year following EUR 8 mil. investment. 

Radu Enache, the owner of Continental Hotels chain, stated that he needs to modify the estimated turnover from EUR 2.5 mil. to EUR 2.2 mil., due to the unit's low activity during the first two months. 

Enache specified that, at present, the company envisages the promotion of hotel and its restaurants.

The promoting budget accounts for 3-5% of the revenues of the whole hotel chain. In 2009, Continental Hotels hotel chain reported EUR 21 mil. turnover, decreasing 19% compared to the previous year and no profit.
