GED took over Travel House travel agency through Happy Tour

GED Spanish investment fund purchased 80% of Travel House agency capital. The transaction was made through Happy Tour travel agency and follows the acquisition of paravion.ro website less than two weeks ago.

Javier Garcia del Valle, CEO of Happy Tour company, stated that the transaction is part of the consolidation strategy of Happy Tour which aims to become the largest tourism operator in the country for corporate services, online and holiday programs.

In 2009, Travel House agency posted EUR 6 mil. sales and EUR 110,000 net profit. The company is controlled by Luca Zucchetti with 45%, Corina Souvannasouck with 30% and Stefano Bardi with 25%.
