Galati city hall benefits of EUR 700,000 from the Ministry of Tourism to set up a marina for small boats on Danube river. The city hall will add its EUR 100,000 contribution to the investment. The total value of the project is EUR 800,000, according to the feasibility study, out of which the Ministry supports 90% and the local budget, 10%. The marina for small boats will be set up on the left shore of Danube river, at km 153, downstream from the Ferry Crossing Point connecting Galati and Tulcea counties. The city hall will hold the auctions for designing and construction works.
