Starting June 1, Tarom airline company will introduce the first flight on Bucharest-Constanta route. In addition, on June 15, Constanta-Cluj flight will be introduced, announced the president of the Association for Promotion and Development of Seaside Tourism, Corina Martin.
Furthermore, starting end of March, Ryanair will have daily flights from Mihail Kogalniceanu Airport towards Pissa and Bologna. Carpatair will operate flights towards Timisoara and Blue Air towards Brussels.
Ryanair low-cost airline transported on Constanta-Pissa route approximately 10,000 passengers in the first six months of operating on the route, out of which 4,500 were European tourists, mostly Italians. Starting this Autumn, Ryanair plans to introduce its third route from Constanta, towards a city in Spain, following the launching of its second flight per week towards Bologna.
Corina Martin stated that the Association for Promotion and Development of Seaside Tourism will negotiate with the largest tour operator in Israel, who will visit Romania within two weeks.
