Starting November 23, companies, local public authorities, ONGs from urban or rural municipalities, can submit projects for European funds in order to develop tourism facilities such as pools, kinetotherapy pools, aqua lands, ski slopes and cable transport, bicycles paths, sport courses, tourism marinas, including the piers on the lakes.
The projects value should range between EUR 1.48 mil. and 19.77 mil. for projects to be developed in the rural regions and from EUR 162,790 to 19.77 mil. for urban areas.
Dan Nicula, Manager of Bucuresti-Ilfov Regional Development Agency, stated that non-reimbursable funds represent 40-70% of the eligible expenditures, according to the Applicant’s Guide.
