European Commission recommends monitoring all airfare websites

Add comment
Verifications, made by advised authorities, show that 60% of airline companies’ sites selling tickets online and registering irregularities were not corrected. Thus, the European officials decided to monitor them and recommended all European Union states to take drastic measures against them.

The European Commission requires companies to display the final price for tickets; information has to be in an international foreign language, while companies have to specify the exact number of available seats, in promotional offers.
