Geoagiu Local Council and Vacanta company will benefit of European funds worth over EUR 5 mil. These are the first two contracts signed by the Agency for Regional Development, ADR Vest, for projects envisaging investment in tourism infrastructure in the area.
The Local Council will benefit of European funds of EUR 4 mil. for rehabilitating the infrastructure of Geoagiu Bai locality, project worth over EUR 5.4 mil.
Vacanta company from Hunedoara plans to turn a 2 star villa into a 3 star hotel. The project requires a total investment over EUR 2.3 mil., out of which approximately EUR 1.2 mil. are non-reimbursable funds.
The total amount allocated for the Western Region reaches EUR 439.67 mil. for 2007-2013.
