This year, Amara spa resort, located in Ialomita county, will benefit of investments of over EUR 4.8 mil from European funds, aimed mainly to rehabilitate the spa park, expand the sewage and rehabilitate the roads, according to the data provided by Amara city hall.
In 2009, 23,500 tourists visited the resort, by 2% less than compared to the previous year.
