EUR 2 bn. investment in Ciucas Mountains

Brasov County Council is partner in a EUR 2 bn. project financed by European funds, to carry out a tourism development plan in Ciucas mountains. The funds are aimed to develop tourism infrastructure such as ski slopes and cable cars, as well as a new resort.

Attila Kovacs, Vice-President of Brasov County Council, stated that, at present the tender book for the works within the project is under developing. The project will start this year.

The new resort in Ciucas mountains will lie on approximately 1,000 ha, which have already been leased.
