EUR 142,000 funds for tourism promotion of Valcea county

Valcea county obtained funds valued at EUR 142,000 for promoting tourism from the Division for Tourism European Funds Management within the Ministry for Tourism.

The project will be completed within 24 months. During this period, promotion materials and a website will be developed.

Also, Valcea county will attend every tourism fair and other similar events which will take place in the country in the mentioned period.

Ion Calea, President of Valcea County Council stated that historical monuments and architecture buildings, UNESCO monument – Hurezi Monastery ensemble, folk culture, traditional events and festivals, monasteries, priories, archeological sites, Cozia and Buila – Vanturita national parks, reserves and nature monuments, caves and rare animals, will be promoted.

Calimanesti-Caciulata, Baile Olanesti, Baile Govora spa resorts, known all over Europe for the therapeutic effect of mineral waters, will also be promoted.
