RTC group’s owner, Octavian Radu invested EUR 1.2 mil. in opening the first Vapiano restaurant in the Anchor Plaza office building in the capital, operated through Sebra division.
Radu estimates the unit will attract 500-600 persons to have lunch, out of which half will be business clients.
Octavian Radu stated that the next locations will be also located in office buildings.
Sebra company obtained the franchise for the German brand Vapiano for Romania and Moldova Republic on 20 years and plans to open approximately 12 restaurants in the next 6 years, one of them to be located in Moldova Republic in 2011.
The average investment for a restaurant of 600 sq m reaches EUR 1.5 mil.
The company also envisages 10 big cities of Romania to open 2-3 restaurants, stated Sebi Vasilescu, manager of Sebra division and Crup&Cino cafe chain.
