EBRD provides non reimbursable funds for agri-tourism boarding houses

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development financially supports agri-tourism boarding houses up to EUR 10,000 for consultancy services to develop a web pages to present the boarding house, to implement HACCP system regarding food safety, for certifying the local traditional products but also for complex marketing projects including local market analysis, clients, competition, market evolution forecasts, developing promotional packages, creating visual identity or promotion materials.

The non reimbursable financing is granted through the “BAS Romania financing business consulting program”, managed by EBRD. 

Daniela Marin, National Manager of BAS Romania program, stated that the BAS Program for 2010 envisage enhancing the support for more the agri-tourism entrepreneurs. According to the new strategy, small companies from rural area could benefit of BAS non reimbursable financing up to 75% but not more than EUR 10,000 specified Marin.
