Cruise holidays to attract 7,000 Romanian tourists this year

For the current year, tourism operators expect over 50% increases of cruise sales and state that the tariffs for cruise holidays will not be reduced, as the market starts to recover.

2009 was the year of last minute offers on the cruise holiday market, when prices fell by 70%.

According to the estimates of Ziarul Financiar publication, the market could be estimated at 7,000 tourists this year, thus generating revenues of approximately EUR 8.5 mil. at an average tariff of EUR 1,200 per person.
