“Romania Green Business Gala” second edition awarded the ones supporting the process of providing information for the public on the necessity to protect the environment.
Therefore, Crowne Plaza Bucharest Hotel was rewarded for proving its active involvement in getting the “green” label.
Several ecological measures were implemented within Crowne Plaza hotel such as: “Conserving for Tomorrow” own program for environment protection, a special program for linen and towels, sorting paper materials, plastic, glass, light balls, batteries. A special machine for compacting waste was purchased, the water used within the hotel comes from the hotel’s own well, dug at 192 m, automatic water shut down systems were installed in the pastry area, kitchen and butchery, which operates on stimulation basis.
