The 5 star Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bucharest, owned by Ana Hotels company, is the first hotel in Bucharest to obtain the European ecologic label for the tourist accommodation services provided, as a release of Ana Holding company shows.
Crowne Plaza is the second eco-labeled hotel in Romania, following Saturn Hotel, which received the eco-label certification last year.
The members of the National Commission for Granting Eco Labels, consultative organization evaluating the submissions, have admitted that the hotel meets the mandatory requirements, as well as other 25 optional criteria, totalizing 46 points, compared to the minimum of 16.5 point necessary to be granted such certification.
