Crowne Plaza Hotel in the capital, 5 star classified, foresees revenues of EUR 9 mil. for this year, similar result to the one registered last year.
At the beginning of this year, the unit signed 15% more corporate contracts, compared to the same period last year. The main customers are companies in consumer goods industry and from the pharmaceutical market.
Approximately 87-90% of the hotel clients are companies, stated Simona Ritter, sales and marketing manager within the hotel.
Simona Ritter stated that in January the unit registered a 50% occupancy rate, lower than the same period last year but in February there was a recovery, reaching a 60% occupancy rate, little under the level of last year.
Ritter stated tariffs per room would not be modified this year.
