In the first six months of the year, passengers’ traffic on Cluj-Napoca International Airport registered an increase by 28% compared to the same period last year, up to 427,825 passengers.
The representatives of Cluj County Council stated Wizz Air low-cost operator will introduce on July 24 flights from Cluj-Napoca towards Alicante, being the sixth destination introduced this year by the airline operator from Cluj airport. In February, the company launched flights from Cluj towards Pisa and Cuneo Torino, while in June it introduced flights towards Zaragoza, Düsseldorf and Palma de Mallorca.
