Carol Parc Hotel Bucharest: 10% turnover increase in 2009

Carol Parc Hotel estimates 10% turnover increase for the current year, compared to last year and 40% increase of revenues resulted from events and restaurant. This is due to the results of the first quarter of the year, when occupancy increased by 152% and revenue increased by 400%, compared to the same period the previous year.

Moreover, the hotel plans to increase the number of Romanian tourists choosing hotels for business trips or tourism. This trend is visible since the first quarter, when 15% of tourists were Romanians, 5% higher than last year stated Sylvia Schlie Petre, the hotel’s owner.

Reservedly, the investment program was put on hold since the end of 2008 at least for the next quarter. Last year, the villa located close to the hotel was purchased to become a spa center.
