In a top of the most expensive European cities for expats, Bucharest occupies the 72nd position, dropping from the 54th position held in 2007 edition, according to a study of the British company ECA International. The top for Europe included 73 cities in over 30 countries. This year Bucharest dropped from the 105th position to the 173rd.
The cheapest city in Europe for expats was nominated Skopje, ranking 73rd. At the opposite side, the most expensive cities in Europe are Moscow, Copenhagen, Oslo, Geneva, Zurich, Bale, Stavanger, Bern, Helsinki and Paris.
