Bright Light consortium launched the official site www.bucurestiulintrozi.ro as part of the “Bucharest in one day” project.
“Bucharest in one day” project envisages contributing to a better awareness of tourists, but also of residents, about the value and the diversity of cultural and tourism heritage of the capital.
Therefore, three trails for pedestrians were proposed, Kiseleff Boulevard, Calea Victoriei and the Old Town, as main axis of a perimeter delimited at North by the National Village Museum Dimitrie Gusti, at West by Cismigiu Garden, at East by Dorobanti Square and at South by Calea Victoriei.
The site consists of two sections. The first includes general information and a social media component by using channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, while the second section includes a map, a geospatial web application, allowing users to quickly view trails and objectives, creating their own map or adding the map on their blog.
