Although Bucharest attracts hundreds of thousands of foreign tourists annually, the capital does not have official tourist site.
The representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, MDRT, stated that the city municipality should be in charge of the site. Moreover, MDRT announced that the institution promotes Bucharest on the site of Romania as destination, romaniatourism.com.
Contacted by Ziarul Financiar newspaper, the representatives from the tourism development direction within Bucharest City Hall stated that they are working to develop an official website for the city to be launched within two months, following EUR 10,000 investment.
