Add comment
British Airways airline introduced a new distance check-in service, allowing passengers to perform flight formalities through their cell phone.

The service is fast and available in 11 languages and doesn’t require special software download.

More, British Airways announced 92% drop of registered profit in the first half of this financial year compared to the same period in 2007 due to the global financial crisis and rising oil prices.

The registered profit before paying taxes dropped to GBP 52 mil., much lower than GBP 616 mil. registered the same period in 2007.

Also, expenditures increased with GBP 711 mil., while costs for acquiring fuel increased with GBP 511 mil. reaching to GBP 1.49 bn.
