According to the Report of Hotels and Boarding Houses, second edition, organized by IBC Focus company, Brasov county ranks first in a top of Romanian counties, with the highest number of hotel projects in 2009, comprising 14 hotels and 7 boarding houses.
The second and third place are occupied by Ilfov county with 14 projects, respectively Cluj county with 13 undergoing projects.
Out of the total projects under developing in Romania, in 2009, 63% are hotels and 37% are boarding houses.
Over 50% of the hotel projects under developing will be 3 and 4 star units, according to the same report.
