Add comment

As a result of low occupancy, Blue Air low-cost airline company announced cancellation of all flights from Suceava airport starting September 16. The reasons for this decision are related to the impossibility of operating with Boeing aircrafts and difficulties in the fueling system, stated Anca Frumusani Coltuc, senior PR of Blue Air company.

All passengers who have bought tickets will be refunded.

Blue Air started to operate from Suceava Airport on June 15, 2009. The company performed daily flights towards Cluj-Napoca and three times a week towards Vienna and Venice.

Gheorghe Flutur, President of Suceava County Council, stated that he has already negotiated with the representatives of other airlines about taking over the flights on Suceava Airport.

Tarom and Carpatair companies still operate on Suceava Airport.

Starting October 25, Blue Air will introduce two new destinations from Cluj-Napoca towards Rome and Paris, performed three times a week.
