Baneasa Airport: 27.27% turnover increase in Q1

In the first quarter of this year, Aurel Vlaicu International Airport Baneasa registered EUR 7 mil. turnover, increasing by 27.27% compared to the same period last year, when it registered EUR 5.5 mil. turnover, stated the airport’s representatives.

Passengers’ number transiting Baneasa Airport in Q1 was 480,000, 23% higher than compared to the similar period in 2008, when the number was 390,000.

At the beginning of the year, Aurel Vlaicu Baneasa International Airport expected EUR 20.24 mil. turnover, 25% higher compared to 2008 and passengers traffic of 2.1 mil., increasing by 20% compared to 2008 when it registered 1.76 mil. passengers.
