Baile Herculane resort requires EUR 30 mil. investments

Baile Herculane spa resort, located in Caras-Severin county, needs approximately EUR 30 mil. investments in order to complete all projects planed by the local authorities to develop the resort, stated Mayor Nicusor Vasilescu. 

He stated that the main investments envisage the rehabilitation of tourism infrastructure by up-grading and increasing the comfort of accommodation and Food and Beverage establishments, as well as increasing the number of accommodation facilities, followed by investments on leisure segment, by developing facilities for spending spare time.

At the same time, the authorities planned for Baile Herculane EUR 8.4 mil. investments for 2010, in order to rehabilitate roads infrastructure and water and sewerage networks, as well as developing a day care kindergarten, a gym hall and also blocks of flats.
