City halls on Prahova Valley are promoting three projects under the motto “Ski in Romania”. The government has already provided necessary funds for these projects. Azuga resort will benefit of EUR 2.7 mil., Busteni resort will receive EUR 2.3 mil. and Sinaia, EUR 2.26 mil. The financing of the necessary technical studies and construction works will be supported by the budget of the local public administration and the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Tourism. Moreover, Prahova County Council promotes two projects for the tourism region on Prahova Valley. The projects envisage developing a mountain rescue centre in Bucegi Mountain, at Busteni - Babele and Sinaia - Cota 1,400, as well as developing a Tourist Information Centre in Bucegi national park. The two projects have been allocated EUR 425,000.
