On June 13, the 4 star classified Arsenal Park hotel complex opened. The complex was developed on the location of a former munitions warehouse in Orastie, Hunedoara county. The necessary investment reached EUR 10 mil. The complex has a capacity of 150 bed places in apartments and villas. Opening the Park corresponds to completing the first phase of the total investment of EUR 20 mil., made by Bega Grup. The next development phase, which is to be completed within 2 to 3 years, will include developing a heliport for 9 choppers, a golf course lying on 30 ha, swimming pools and a residential area, where the former munitions warehouses will become luxurious villas. Bungee-jumping from the water tower will also be available.
