Apuseni National Park awarded with the excellence prize in tourism

Apuseni National Park was awarded with the excellence award in tourism within the EDEN ceremony 2009, held on October 8, together with other 21 destinations in the European Union, Croatia and Turkey.

Other destinations receiving the excellence award are Grosse Walsertal Park (Austria), Northern Velebit National Park (Croatia), Lesbos Island (Greece), Penisola del Sinis maritime protected area (Sardinia, Italy) or Gravenrode Park (Netherlands).
