Ana Holding: EUR 100 mil. turnover in 2009

Ana Holding company estimates EUR 100 mil. turnover this year, dropping by 25-30% compared to 2008, stated George Copos, the holding’s owner.

Copos stated that Ana Holding has invested aproximately EUR 200 mil. in projects currently blocked, as a consequence of the economic crisis.

For Ana Imep SA Pitesti, Copos estimates a turnover of EUR 30 mil. this year, decreasingly compared to 2008, when the company registered EUR 42 mil. turnover.

Moreover, Copos stated that 300 of the 1,000 employees of Ana Imep have been fired. Also, every company within the holding, including hotels, applied personnel cuts.

Ana Holding includes companies such as Ana Hotels, Ana Imep, Ana Pan, Ana Trans International and Ana Aslan Health Spa.
