Both line and low-cost airlines operating in Romania launched promotions for trips during winter holidays, considering that more and more Romanian tourists have to adjust vacation budgets due to the crisis.
The budget for the 2009-2010 New Year’s Eve in Europe for a person with average income is approximately EUR 500-600 for 5 days in Paris, Lyon, Rome or Madrid, half compared to the period before the downturn.
Tarom airlines company will keep the offer of EUR 50 towards all destinations, taxes not included, during winter holidays, as well.
Also, the price for a ticket to Amsterdam with Air France-KLM airline is EUR 139, all taxes included, during winter holidays.
A Blue Air ticket towards Lyon, city which attracts Romanians for winter sports, costs approximately EUR 85, departure date around the end of the year from Bucharest and return in the first two weeks of January. In the same period, London destination can be reached for EUR 150 a ticket. Wizz Air low-cost airlines provides the Romanians the possibility of booking a Bucharest -Milan flight at EUR 21, or Bucharest - Barcelona and Cluj - Barcelona flights for EUR 33.
