The Italian businessman Angelo Barbato plans to start the construction works to develop a 5 star hotel in Brasov until the end of the year. The investment is estimated at EUR 20 mil. and the hotel will have 100 rooms, a spa centre and its own commercial galleries.
The hotel will be part of Vesuvius complex which includes a restaurant and a casino.
Angelo Barbato stated that the hotel unit will not be affiliated to an international brand, being envisaged the development of an own hotel brand.
The businessman estimates an occupancy rate of 80% for the next hotel unit, while the foreign tourists weight will account for approximately 40%.
