Gipa Vegia company, controlled by two Italian businessmen, will invest approximately EUR 5.5 mil. in developing a 4 star hotel in downtown Bucharest, at streets cross Maria Rosetti and Vasile Lascar. The necessary amount for investment will be supported by own sources as well as loans, contracted from Italo-Romena Bank.
The hotel, named I-Mage, will be 4-storried building with 23 double rooms, 8 junior suite rooms and 4 apartments. The unit will be added to a villa built in 1910, which is under consolidating process at present.
The works will start in approximately one month, after completing the consolidation works of the villa. Giacomo Sarroglia, one of the company’s associates, estimates that the works for the hotel will be completed at the beginning of 2010.
