90% passengers increase on Cluj-Napoca International Airport, in 2008

International Airport Cluj-Napoca, Romania, registered over 90% increase in passenger traffic last year, compared to 2007, up to 752,000 passengers, airport representatives stated.

Also, the airport representatives declared that they currently have negotiations with various airline companies, to operate on Cluj-Napoca airport. At the same time, discussion with existing operators envisage increasing the number of flights and introducing new routes.
