40% of boarding houses in Romania operate on the black market

Elena Udrea, Minister of Tourism, stated that tourism activities operated on the black market account for 30%, while boarding houses generate most of problems, 40% of them functioning illegally.

Udrea stated the minister, together with the local authorities and police, plan to initiate a campaign against tourism on the black market, in order to inform both the operators and tourists of the consequences of the illegal activity.
