15,000 foreign tourists at the seaside in 2009

This year, 15,000 foreign tourists will spend their holiday at the Romanian seaside, at the best, stated Dragos Anastasiu, General Manager of Touring Eurolines company. The number is similar to the one registered in 2008.

Anastasiu stated that Dertour German tour operator will bring 2,000-3,000 tourists to the Romanian seaside resorts.

If we consider the number of Romanian tourists, as well, the seaside could register 10-15% increase in 2009, as a result of introducing holiday tickets and early-booking program.
