143 rural tourism projects to benefit of non-reimbursable European financing of EUR 26.05 mil.

APDRP, Payments Agency for Rural Development and Fishery, will contract 143 projects which will be financially supported by non-reimbursable funds of EUR 26.05 mil.

104 projects were selected for approval to modernize and develop accommodation facilities. The value exceeds EUR 18.9 mil.

31 projects worth EUR 5.6 mil. according to the APDRP were submitted for investments in local tourism infrastructure.

Non-reimbursable financing within the investment measure could account for 70% of the total eligible value of the investments but will not exceed EUR 200,000.

The highest non-reimbursable value of a selected project to be contracted is over EUR 207,000 and envisages developing of a boarding house and promoting the tourism values in the region of project’s implementation. The lowest amount is approximately of EUR 60,240 and envisages setting up an agri-tourism household.
