13% discount for train tickets purchased in advance

Starting June 1st, CFR Calatori, the Romanian Railway company, applies discounts from 5% to 13% for train tickets purchased in advance, available only for full price and kids tickets.

Train tickets bought in advance with 6 to 10 days benefit of 5% discount, for 11-20 days purchase in advance the discount is 10%, while tickets bought up to 21 days in advance benefit of 13% discount.

The discount applies to ticket price and train excess fare and it is not valid for seat booking price or for bed or couchette additional price.
