Luftahnsa airline estimates EUR 40 mil. turnover for Romania in 2008, 20% higher than in 2007, stated the General Manager for Romania and Moldova, Stefan Versemann.
The company’s representatives stated that the first nine months of 2008 brought Lufthansa an operational profit of EUR 984 mil., while the forecasted profit for the whole year will reach EUR 1.1 bn.
In March 2009, Lufthansa will introduce a direct flight Bucharest – Milan, round trip.
